Definition
Arcology, a portmanteau of "architecture" and "ecology" coined by architect Paolo Soleri in 1969, defines a vision of hyper-dense, self-contained, three-dimensional vertical cities. These massive structures aim to integrate residential, commercial, and agricultural facilities to minimize human environmental impact, eliminate urban sprawl, and foster sustainable, pedestrian-oriented communities.

An Arcology is a central infrastructure framework, which when fully developed leads to replicable planetary & orbital infrastructure capability being unlocked, enabling the development of a decentralized self-sustainable cosmic republic civilization model.

Its core mission is to conduct deep-ocean reconnaissance, biosignature detection, and first-contact protocols while maintaining Arcology-grade governance, research districts, and industrial autonomy beneath the ice.
